Modern Collectibles.

The Discovery Channel partnered with StoryFutures for the ‘Modern Collectibles’ project to produce a TV pilot with an accompanying augmented reality (AR) Apple iOS application. Rich Hemming (S_A_R_Lab), alongside creating the sound design for this prototype, incorporated procedural audio behaviours, through integrating Pure Data with Unity game engine using LibPd. This utilised data driven sound design from gestural information from CoreML. Below is two short examples of hand/finger movement driving sound design in real-time of a swooshing/spinning audio behaviour. This iOS app was a public beta audience testing is available here.
